#1Decks was founded by Darren Ettridge in 2012. Darren and our team have a huge passion for creating outdoor spaces for clients as there is nothing better than seeing our clients unwind and enjoy their areas we designed and built for them.

TELEPHONE CONVERSATION
Our process in working with you starts with an initial telephone conversation where we establish the scope of your outdoor renovation project.

SITE VISIT
You’d like to have a consultation to discuss your project further, we schedule a site visit to your home so we can see the area to be renovated and to discuss with you the design and features of your new deck in further detail.

PROPOSAL PREPARATION
Based on this meeting and taking into account you and your family’s specific needs, we prepare a proposal to build your new deck/ pergola and advise you on a choice of materials and how to maximise the design of your new outdoor area.

VISUAL PRESENTATION
We use computer aided design so you will have a visual representation of what your project will look like when finished.

COSTS & TIMELINE
The proposal will give you a detailed breakdown of costs as well as a project timeline.

COMMUNICATION DURING THE PROJECT
Once the project is underway, your designated Project Manager keeps in regular contact with you to advise you on progress and to coordinate access and delivery of materials where required.
