Luxury Rural Decking with a Resort Vibe

Our client had a brilliant vision for this project: Transforming their ‘family friendly’ alfresco to echo a luxurious modern resort. We eagerly set about making this vision a reality. 

The client wanted to transform their family-friendly poolside and alfresco area from a fully tiled, aging space to a modernised resort-like appearance with a playful contrast of elements. Keeping some of the original grey tiling and introducing rich Merbau hardwood timber – the result was visually compelling, yet highly functional. 

Incredibly natural

We love how the new design pay tribute to the natural surroundings of the property. Hints of marble tile lined with warm timber and complemented by the blue hues of the pool, the outdoor living area became a modern Australian artistic installation.

Maintenance

To create and cultivate this look, our team used a natural Merbau timber with an Intergrain Ultradeck coating to protect the wood from water and sun damage. To ensure the sustainability of the rich gloss we will need to perform annual maintenance with recoating to help preserve the deck from external damage factors.
