Silver decking is timeless and will never go out of style – that’s why we love this modern look that uses Trex Decking. Paired with monochromatic furniture, this space looks ready for a Vogue feature spread.
Urban Retreat
Working in an office all day can be draining, but definitely less so when you have an outdoor setting like this for breaks! We were able to build these oversized planter boxes and bench combos using Outdure Living QWICKBUILD® subframe. The bench and planter combos were beautifully complemented by tiles and turf. We love how these urban gardens act as seats while providing a great contrast to the space.
Backyard Oasis
We are absolutely in love with this Blackbutt timber alfresco and unique poolside decking project! Completed back in 2017, the timber’s colours are starting to silver with age, resulting in a stunningly beautiful natural effect.
The boards were oiled with Cutek Global CD50 to preserve the timber while allowing it to silver off. The backyard space was designed to be versatile for each season: a great spot to warm up and catch the sunlight during those brisk winter days, whilst providing stylish shade during summer. A perfect oasis.
Dream Entertaining Space
Need we say anymore? Commissioned to help the client sell the property, this alfresco look was achieved with a rich Merbau timber – as it’s slightly more cost effective – and oiled with a water based oil which left the deck looking incredible. It’s the ideal family and entertainment space.
Deck Care Tip! Remember when using water based oils it’s important to thoroughly wash the timber with oxalic acid to release the tannins.
